Dear Muck Boots,
Just a quick note to let you know that you have a terrific product!! I own one pair of Muck Boots and will soon buy either a Woody Armor or the Fieldblazer for turkey hunting. My wife owns two different models of Muck Boots. I just completed my annual turkey hunting trip to Eastern Washington and on my recommendation my hunting partner showed up with a pair of the all-terrain camo boots (which he loved by the way).
This isn’t the only reason I am writing, however. About three years ago I attended a presentation by John Roskelley at the Outdoor Gear store in Spokane, Washington. John and his son are the only father/son team featured in the Spokesman Review newspaper.
Here is where the Muck Boots com in to the picture. When he is not climbing mountains, John sometimes leads treks on the world’s highest (altitude wise) trek in the country of Bhutan in they Himalayas. As I recall, much of the trek was near the 20,000 foot level. John told a story about leading a group of prominent trekkers (very expensive trek) on a trip which was snowy, rainy and very wet. John had just purchased a pair of Muck Boots. While everyone else was having a great deal of difficulty with their leather boots due to the wet weather and rugged terrain, John changed from his leather boots and donned his Muck Boots which left his feet healthy, happy and dry throughout the 21 day trek. John is easily contacted as he is former county commissioner in Spokane County as well as being very prominent in the mountain climbing community.
Best,
