WHY THE CHORE?

Built for work and to keep everyone who works and lives on the land, comfortable, protected, and productive, the Chore boot was our first utility work boot, becoming widely relied upon and recognized for being the leader in its class. When senior product developer, Greg Coyne, was deciding which product would serve as the best canvas to memorialize Muck’s 25th anniversary, the Chore boot became the obvious choice to reimagine for 2024.

BEHIND THE BOOT

Greg has been a leading member of the product development team since 2012, having designed over 100 styles that now define the Muck brand. With his knowledge of the brand, design background, and excitement to bring a modern, utility vision to life for this well-known style, he was inspired by people like you, who live in and wear their boots day in and out. “Our end consumers are essential workers. What we do is essential to the lives and work of so many people. We are a gold standard brand at an infant age of only 25 years in this industry. I love that we have an honest, true, genuine consumer, who loves what they do. That energy is infectious.”

The iconic Muck® green color was chosen to sample the brand’s diamond logo and functional features - reflective, safety silver highlights and pull tab - were added for those whose days begin before the sun and end well after day turns to night. This style also utilizes our XPRESSCOOL™ lining – an evaporative cooling liner that wicks away moisture away from the source, keeping you dry and comfortable during long days on your feet.
