Muck is proud of our relationship with the Urban Farming Institute, an incredible organization in the backyard of our Boston-area office headquarters. This season, we visited the farm to learn more about their incredible work and capture photography assets for our Spring footwear collection.

We’re excited to share more about the important work UFI does to transform vacant city land in areas where food cultures are diverse- and environments where community members are excited to grow and share food.

Located in Mattapan, a neighborhood in Boston, the Urban Farming Institute’s goal is to invite community members to access delicious food and practice healthy eating, to transform neglected land in neighborhoods, and to contribute to economic and environmental resilience by localizing the food system.

It’s not just about teaching people about farming. Urban Farming Institute wants to train people on the business and practice of the farming industry.
